How To Pray For Us
I have recently changed how I pray for myself and I would ask you all to follow me in this. So far, during our time in Cameroon, I have prayed for a lot of things. Healing, safety, peace, wisdom, patience, guidance, clarity and understanding. And all those are great to pray for, but the main thing is lacking and that is being made into the image of Christ and having our hearts changed into those of Christ’s. Because when it gets down to it, I can learn a language fluently, write up a spot-on analysis, adjust to the culture flawlessly and never get sick but still be missing what is truly important and that is shining the light of Christ to those around me. So before you pray for our safety or anything else, pray for our hearts so that we will be effective witnesses of Christ above all else.
